2012 Membership Prices have been set!
The Board of Directors have set the Membership prices for the 2012 golf season. The Board has decided to change the "Early Bird" discount and the New Member Discount in favor of a more aggressive pricing structure. The prices below show the "Early Bird" discount (must be paid in full/post marked by April 1st, 2012) and the regular price for anyone paying after April 1st.
Singles - $575/$625
Couples - $725/$775
Family - $890/$940
Jr. Adult - $255/$305
Restricted - $375/$425
Corporate - $790/$840

Cart Shed spots are available for the 2012 season!
Anyone interested in securing a cart shed spot for the upcoming 2012 golf season should send an e-mail to info@maplerivergolfclub.com or call 701-282-5415. We currently have both Electric and Gas Cart spots available. All spots are on a first come, first served basis. There are already people on the waiting list so contact us ASAP to make sure you get a spot reserved!
Annual Meeting date is set...
Mark your calendar for the 2012 Annual Meeting! We will be meeting at the West Fargo Speedway on Saturday, March 24th at 10am. More information regarding 2012 Membership pricing to come in the near future.
Course Improvements update...
The Board of Directors would like the thank the following people for all their efforts in getting the hole 16 project up and running...
First and foremost, Thank you to Fred Schmidt. Without his time and talents, this project wouldn't have gotten started. He took out the old road, leveled/shaped the soon-to-be fairway and filled in a portion of the pond on 16 as well as built the permanent "temporary" tee box on hole 9 and raised the cart path on hole 10. Thank you again Fred for helping make Maple River GC a better place!
We would also like to thank Larry, Erik, Doug and the grounds crew for the extra effort this Fall in getting all the course improvement projects moving before the snow flies... Thank you again for everything you guys do each and every year!
Steve Burger and Northern Pipe Products for supplying the pipe for 16 pond.
Jeff Loe and Roger Nelson at Titan Machine for getting us the best price on the equipment. Thanks to Butler for getting us the scraper on such short notice!
Don Pfau for the use of the skid-steer, survey equipment and his advise on all of these projects.
Thank you to Deb Brand for the extremely generous donation that allowed us to build the new patio near the 18th green. We will be furnishing the patio next spring with a portion of Deb's donation and hope all of our Members enjoy the new outside seating area for years and years to come! Thank you again Deb!
And finally, thank you to Paul Boese for coordinating the project. Paul's efforts in getting everything lined up were instrumental in getting this project off the ground.

2011 Men's Club Championship
Congrats to Reid Mattson for defending his title once again! Reid defeated Bryce Mattson on the 13th hole of the Championship Match Sunday while Matt Western closed out Mike Roll on the 17th to take the Maple River Flight Championship. For the final updated results/brackets click here.
2011 Ladies Club Championship
Congrats to LeAnn Montgomery for winning the 2011 Ladies Club Championship with a gross score of 75! Well done once again LeAnn! Shelly Finney won the net division.
MRGC Annual Fundraiser... THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2011 Annual Fundraiser Scramble! We raised over $17,000! Thank you again to all the players, vendors, members and staff for making this years fundraiser another huge success!
City of Mapleton request to Members.
The City of Mapleton has requested that we remind our Members to obey the speed limit thru the Ashmore Glen Development when driving to and from the golf course. The speed limit is posted at 20mph thru the development. Please be sure to watch for children and pedestrians while driving. Thank you for your consideration regarding this important matter.
MRGC seeks Members to serve on committees...
During the April Board meeting, the MRGC Board of Directors has assigned 4 committee chairpeople and committee members to the following committees... Competition, Greens, Clubhouse and Finance. We are looking for Members to join these committees. These committees will meet as needed and present their findings to the Board of Directors during the monthly Board meeting. Many of these meeting will take place prior to the Board meeting on the the third Weds of each month. Please contact Dana or the Committee Chairperson if you are interested in participating.
