Toop Cup Qualifiers have been decided...
The field is set for the First Annual Toop Cup Finals to be played Saturday, Sept. 25th. The players that qualified will receive a player gift and free entry into the Toop Cup Finals. This will be an 18 hole Stroke play event with both Gross and Net Divisions.

Men's Club Championship
Congrats to Reid Mattson for defending his Club Championship title! He defeated Brock Graff in the final match of the Championship Flight 6 &5. Jason Buttke defeated Jason Ronningen 2 & 1 for the Maple River Flight Championship. Daryl Buland beat our 24 other players in the closest to the pin contest we held Saturday evening... Lynn Brandonburger and Wade Lindgren took 2nd and 3rd.
Thank you to everyone that participated in this years Club Championship. Special thanks go out to Mike Western for managing the calcutta, Russ Johnson for his part in the auction, Mark Klukken for cooking the steaks, Chad Clemenson for providing desert on Saturday/Sunday, the clubhouse/beverage cart staff for keeping everything moving smoothly, and of course Larry, Eric and their team for having the course is fantastic shape for all of us to enjoy.

2010 Member League Playoffs are completed... sort of...
Congrats to Ryan and Jessica Toop for winning the 2010 Member League! They outlasted Defending Champs, Erik Hansen and Matt Faller 2 & 1 in their 18 hole match. All of the Flight Championship matches were completed except for the 5th Flight... Waasdorp/Felch vs. Aker/Olson went into extra holes in their match, they finished two extra holes and had to stop due to darkness... they will complete their match on Monday, August 30th. Thank you to all 120 Members that played in our league this year. Thanks to you, Maple River GC has the largest (and best) team league in the area!

Ladies Club Championship Results

Chelsey held off strong efforts by both Maviann Schuler and defending Champion and 13 Time MRGC Ladies Club Champion, LeAnn Montgomery to take the Championship with a score of 76. New for 2010 is the "Toop Insurance Cup" Event Point system.
Similar to the "FedEx Cup" on the PGA Tour, the new ToopCup will reward your performance in select Club events throughout the 2010 golf season. The top 16 point earners will play in the Toop Cup Finals on Saturday, September 25th. In addition to the free entry into the Toop Cup Finals, the top 16 players will also receive a 2010 Toop Cup Headcover. Details on how you earn Toop Cup points will be posted around the clubhouse as well as the current point standings. A list of the Toop Cup events will also be posted in the clubhouse.
